Easter in September

So I thought I would add to this post due to the fact that I ran into some technical difficulties while trying to post yesterday. The picture and the title were easily added from an app. on my Samsung s4  but for some reason it would not allow text. So moving forward we found a total of 10 whole eggs plus 2 broken. I decided that since I was unsure about there age I would forgo this batch and yes I am aware of the old put them in the cup of water trick and if they sink then they are for sure fresh at least that's what I have read and been told by others. So after this great find we now know that we must do at least one egg hunt a day, which makes O.P. (more on who that is later) excited since he gets to go look a bunch.

So it seems only fitting to meet the newly productive member's of our family or at least four out five.We started with six but one died last week and then I found another unnamed family member eating her but I am relative sure she died of natural causes as she did not look good the day before.

This breed of chickens is called sex-links and they are great egg layer but would not make will for meat bird. Here is a great resource about chickens if you are new to the game like me.                   /http://www.backyardchickens.com/

After Easter we headed out for our ritual Saturday morning taco's at Tinka-A-Tako. Then headed over to NB (New Braunfels) to check out my cousins new house, which they are suppose to close on Wednesday but I don't see that happening and that are at there whit's end with the builder. Not looking good at all and it's already 2 months past due.
